The attention of the Anti-Corruption Commission has been drawn to several newspaper publications quite recently stating that the Commissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission, Mr. Abdul Tejan- Cole has resigned to take up an international appointment. Contrary to this, the Commission wishes the general public to know that this is completely false and unfounded. Mr. Tejan-Cole is presently out of the jurisdiction on a short vacation leave.

The Commission also wishes the general public to know that it has full confidence in the integrity of its staff and their contribution to the work of the Commission in the fight against corruption.
